First Place, Alternative Printing Procesess, March 2005 This picture was an experiment. I tried putting some cardboard over a sheet of 4X5 film and I removed one section at a time to expose it to seperate subjects. I kept the resulting image for years then one day I was looking a a scan I'd made of the white flowers. My Mother was looking over my shoulder and suggested that I combine the two. I had to painstakingly remove all the black background from inside the flowers.
