Before contacting me you should give consideration to the following issues:
* What is the purpose of your site and who is your target audience.
* What sites do you like? What sites do you hate? Why do you like/dislike those sites? Do you have any favorite color schemes/colors to stay away from?
* Try to identify the sections you foresee in your site. Other than the home page, what other sections are there? How many pages to each section?
* Will the pages be live right away? Think about who is going to be doing any updates to the site, both initially and long-term. How often do you think changes will need to be made?
* What is the call to action? To buy something? To call you? To solve a problem?
* What is the "look" you desire - sophisticated? fun? casual? expert? professional?
* What is unique about your product or service?
* What graphics/pictures do you see being used in the web site?
* Do you need a logo designed?
* Do you have existing textual content describing your product or service?
* Do you need a domain name? Example: www.yourcompany.com or you can set up at a site that offers free web space but puts ads on your site, such as Yahoo Geocities.
* Would you like to be registered with search engines and directories such as Yahoo, Alta Vista and Google so that users can find your web site?
